Little things make a big impact when BetterPoints users raise money

Michael Grimes - 08 February 2017

We all know that little things can make a big impact, and the more there are the more impact they make, as Guide Dogs found out.

At BetterPoints, we let our users donate their reward points to their favourite causes, be they national charities such as Guide Dogs or local community groups. We have some hard-working and generous users and their efforts add up.

BetterPoints users are rewarded for making positive, often difficult, changes to their behaviour. They can redeem those points against vouchers for high street stores or, as many do, they can donate them as cash to charities and community groups.

We don’t make it too easy. It can take a while to accumulate enough points to redeem, so the donations reflect a good deal of effort.

Which is why we’re so proud of our users that donated small amounts of points to Guide Dogs. It took effort and, over a few months, they generated enough money to partner up a guide dog for ten days and microchip three puppies.
